Our group activity is best represented in Microsoft Teams, with approximately 80% of the collaboration taking place on that platform. We used this platform predominately as it has some of the best tools for collaboration, namely using Microsoft cloud-based applications, setting calendar appointments, scheduling meetings and through assigning tasks and deadlines with Microsoft Planner. Renee and Jacqueline also used this platform to schedule the interview with IT professional Russell Close, which ran smoothly and effortlessly due to the applications effectiveness. The GitHub commit trail didn’t reflect our teams work until the last week before submission, as we had spent much of the time focusing on the content and then lastly putting it all together into the GitHub repository. Initially there was a learning curve around communication, specifically involving conflicts in the code. But after a quick meeting and a bit of practise these issues no longer presented themselves. We scheduled group meetings every Monday and Thursday at 8:15pm, these were to run for approximately 30 minutes to discuss the meeting agenda and set new actions. On average we were able to stick to the recommended duration at around 35-40 minutes and had minimal absences from the group.
